Ad Operations Council

The IAB Ad Operations Council is a longstanding council led by an an advisory board of IAB General Members with regular participation from Agency representatives.

Mission and Focus

The Ad Ops Council is dedicated to improving the operational efficiency of interactive advertising. Ad Ops Council working groups regularly include agency-side representatives to help improve communication, understanding, and work processes in many areas of the buyer-seller relationship.

As such, this council focuses on the human and technological effort of managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on operational efficiency. Some of the Working Groups and Taskforces this Council oversees include:

  • Consumer Protection Taskforce
  • Display Creative Guidelines Working Group
  • Site Tagging Best Practices Taskforce
