Creativity on Tablets: Out-of-the-Box Thinking for a Transformational Medium

Tablets are unleashing the biggest explosion of digital advertising creativity since the dawn of broadband video.  As of January 2011, about 15% of American adults owned a tablet, and as that number grows tablets will only become more important as an ad medium.  While marketers and agencies are excited about the potential of tablet advertising, there remain more questions than answers in terms of how to actually design and execute a successful campaign.

Join the IAB at this breakfast event to learn about how pioneering media industry leaders are taking advantage of the tablet revolution today.  Through conversation and examples, this event will explore how creative briefs for tablets are being written and executed, drivers and impediments to running a campaign on tablets, and how the IAB’s new Mobile Rising Stars ad concepts will reinforce and ensure the growth of the tablet ad market.

Peter Minnium, Head of Brand Initiatives, IAB will present an overview of the IAB’s Mobile Rising Stars ad concepts (unveiled in February at the IAB’s 2012 Annual Leadership Meeting) and discuss next steps in that process.

Following that, Joe Laszlo, Senior Director of the IAB’s Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence will shift to a conversation with a panel of expert leaders from the agency and media communities, including Colleen DeCourcy, CEO of Socialistic; Darrell Whitelaw, Technology Experience Lead, co:collective; and Eric Litman, CEO, Medialets.
