2015 IAB Small Publisher Conference & Fly-In

A Unique Event Designed Specifically for the Small Publisher
Learn, Network & Represent Online Entrepreneurs in Front of Congress
June 23-24, 2015 Washington D.C.

Each year since 2009, IAB has brought small, online publishers to the nation’s capital.

At the event, attendees engage in learning sessions designed specifically for the small publisher, take part in unique networking opportunities, and are given a direct platform to express to legislators, the challenges, concerns and impact that adverse legislation and regulation may have on their businesses.

Why Attend the Fly-In?

  • Learn about the latest strategies, technologies and tactics to grow your online business
  • Network with other small online businesses and publishers from across the country and learn best practices
  • Voice your business’ story, industry concerns and challenges to Congress members and their staffs
  • Be guests of honor at a special reception and dinner at the Google’s Washington, D.C., office

Why Do I Want to Talk to Congress?

Political campaigns have been launched that seek government regulation of many of the core processes and technologies that support interactive advertising.

The IAB believes small publishers, whose advertising sales are largely or entirely managed by ad networks, would be disproportionately impacted by this type of regulation. This would affect advertising revenue and potentially diminish the diversity of voices and ideas across the diverse digital commerce landscape.

The IAB feels it’s vital that politicians understand that ad-supported publishers exist everywhere in the U.S., and by coming to Washington with us, you are playing a critical role in conveying the deep economic value and impact of interactive advertising.

How Much Does It Cost and What Are the Accommodations?

There is no cost to attend the event for small publishers, courtesy of IAB.

There is a limited number of $99 rooms at the Omni Shoreham Hotel available for Small Publisher attendees only. You can book your room here. These rooms are limited so please book early.
