IAB Reveals First-Ever List of Top Mobile Shopping Savvy U.S. Cities
Understanding the crucial role of mobile in marketers’ holiday strategies, IAB and its Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence released “Mobile Shoppers,” a report that looks at how consumers’ access to mobile data will inevitably influence both what they buy and where they buy it. In addition, the study unveils the first-ever ranking of the most mobile shopping savvy cities in the U.S. Houston, New York, and Atlanta took the lead, with the San Francisco/Bay Area missing the top 10 cut. David Doty Promoted to Executive Vice President, Will Oversee IAB’s Brand Marketing, Research & International Efforts
David Doty now becomes the IAB’s second Executive Vice President, alongside Executive Vice President and COO Patrick Dolan. Working under the ongoing leadership of IAB President and CEO Randall Rothenberg, Doty and Dolan will comprise the top-level management team of the IAB. With this new role, Doty will be responsible for the organization’s industry-wide brand marketing-related activities. In addition, while maintaining his duties as CMO leading marketing and events, Doty will oversee research as well as international efforts and partnerships.
