As Director of Product Management, Brian leads the development of DoubleClick for Publishers at Google and has 15 years' experience working in digital publishing and monetization. Brian was the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Admeld, a company acquired by Google in 2011. He led Admeld from its inception to its marketing leading position in providing programmatic tools for publishers. Prior to Admeld, Brian held engineering positions at AOL and Lycos. He holds a BS in Computer and Information Science from The Ohio State University.

Joanna Bloor is the Vice President of Advertising Operations at Pandora Radio. In her leadership role, Joanna has built the Advertising Operations team, providing direction and guidance to her lieutenants who develop and deploy the vision and strategy for sales operations, client services, and ad technology.
Through her nearly 20 year career, Joanna has become a nationally recognized expert in advertising operations. Most recently, she ran Sales Operations for CBS Interactive where as Associate Vice President she drove the custom design and implementation of a +$800M supply chain system for their digital and subscription businesses and directed the strategy for the $18M second-tier revenue business. Joanna’s experience also includes sales, operations, and strategy at Opentable.com, Classified Ventures, Interactive Corp/Ticketmaster—Citysearch.

Ryan is VP, Product at AppNexus. He joined AppNexus from Zynga where he was GM of Ad Product, responsible for Zynga’s proprietary ad platform and 3P provider integrations across mobile, video, and desktop display ad products. Prior to Zynga, Ryan spent four years at Brand.net in senior product, business development and operations roles and four years at Yahoo! where he led indirect inventory monetization and the integration of Yahoo’s display ad network including Right Media.
Before joining the world of digital advertising Ryan was a founder and CEO of Sentrik, an enterprise security company, ran product management and marketing for Rocket Network, and managed engagements for RB Webber & Co, a Silicon Valley strategy consultancy and venture fund. Ryan received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.

As Co-Founder and Principal of \UNBOUND\ Quentin George is considered one of the pioneers of programmatic media. \UNBOUND\ is the first independent and unbiased systems integrator focused exclusively on the marketing technology landscape.
Previously, Quentin served as the the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at IPG Mediabrands, where he was responsible for overseeing $2B in digital media spend across global media networks as well as specialist digital agencies for Fortune 500 brands.
In 2008, Quentin lead the team that architected and built the industry’s first-ever, stand-alone programmatic media-buying agency Cadreon. Driven by a manifest destiny to unite the talents of Silicon Valley and Madison Avenue to serve the greater good. Quentin has served on the customer advisory boards for Google, Microsoft Advertising, Yahoo!, and AOL. He also serves on industry trade boards including the IAB and 4A’s.
One of the most tenured leaders in the digital arena, Quentin has held senior leadership roles at digital agencies ranging from Razorfish to Organic. In 1994 Quentin co-founded one of the earliest digital agencies Electric Ocean that won the first Clio awarded for digital work.

Alanna Gombert is currently Senior Director, Programmatic and Trading, at Condé Nast where she oversees programmatic and exchange strategy. Alanna joined Condé Nast from Google by way of Admeld where she ran the trading desk, agency, and demand-side platform relationships and helped grow RTB from an idea to a killer business. Alanna is currently also Chair of the IAB’s Programmatic Publishers Task Force where she is leading efforts to ensure programmatic creates value for all stakeholders.
Prior to Admeld, Alanna worked at Right Media, the first online advertising exchange, where she focused on ad selection algorithms and market dynamics. Right Media was acquired by Yahoo in 2007. Her early career included stints with Nielsen, DoubleClick, and the finance world with JP Morgan Chase and Commerzbank. Advertising has allowed her to travel the world and she has experience in international markets including EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.

David Gunzerath is Senior Vice President and Associate Director of the Media Rating Council (MRC). In addition to his work on MRC’s accreditation-related activities, he also is heavily involved in the development of new measurement standards for emerging media.
David joined MRC in July 2007 after eight years with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), where he led NAB’s Research Group and was responsible for directing all industry and policy research and polling conducted by and for the association. Prior to joining NAB, he held a series of research, management, and editorial positions with TV Guide, including a role as a regular national feature columnist on television ratings-related news. He received his Ph.D. in Media Studies from the University of Iowa and also holds an M.A. in Communications from Temple University, and a B.S. in Business Administration from La Salle College.

Mark Howard is Senior Vice President of Digital Advertising Strategy at Forbes Media. In this role, he heads up digital ad strategy, focusing on leading the introduction of the company’s new and highly innovative advertising products to the marketplace. Previously he was Senior Vice President of Digital Ad Sales.
Mark also held the position of Vice President of Digital Advertising Sales for Forbes Media, responsible for leading the global sales team in their online sales efforts as well as leading the Western Region team in their integrated sales efforts. He was also charged with developing the corporate digital sales strategy, which included new product development, creation and development of audience extension programs, and strategic planning.
He joined Forbes Media as a Regional Sales Manager in 2002. During his time at Forbes he has held the positions of West Coast Digital Sales Director and West Region Director of Integrated Sales.
Prior to joining Forbes Media, Mark has held sales positions at Inc. and Fast Company magazines as well E-Trade Financial. He began his career as a media planner at Anderson & Lembke. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing.

Jennifer Hungerbuhler is an experienced marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in advertising and media buying.
In her current role with Carat USA, part of the Aegis Media portfolio, Jennifer holds the position of Senior Vice President, Group Director, Local Media Activation. In this significant role, she oversees staff in both New York and Atlanta and is responsible for $600M of local media spend in audio and video for all Carat clients.
Her current client portfolio includes General Motors, Macy’s, The Home Depot, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Disney Parks and Resorts, Pfizer, Smucker’s, Diageo, and Outback Steakhouse. Jennifer’s long-standing tenure within the industry spans several categories and sectors, including, but not limited to QSR (Dominos, Hardees, Church’s Chicken, Papa John’s) travel and entertainment (South Carolina Tourism, Twentieth Century Fox, CBS, Relativity Media and Viacom), Automotive (Dodge, Ford, Hyundai/Kia) and Restaurants (Carrabbas and Bonefish Grill).
Jennifer began her career at BBDO in Atlanta as an assistant media buyer. She has also held increasingly significant positions with Bates USA, where she oversaw the Hyundai Dealer and CVS/pharmacy accounts.
Currently she resides in Atlanta where she is active in the local business community. She is a member of the ABAC (Atlanta Broadcast Advertising Club), and a member of the Local TV/Radio committee for the 4A’s.

George Ivie is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Media Rating Council (MRC), a not-for-profit industry organization created in 1963 at the request of the U.S. Congress to assure high ethical and operational standards in audience measurement services. His background includes almost 30 years of experience in media research auditing, oversight, and consulting. Prior to being appointed the Executive Director of the MRC in January 2000, George was a partner at Ernst & Young and their lead representative and advisor to the MRC, conducting all MRC audits and interacting with MRC management and member organizations. George has a thorough knowledge of research best practices, operations, controls, and information systems in internet, multimedia, print, radio, and television measurement services.

Zach Putnam is the Vice President of Digital Revenue Planning and Operations for ABC Television Network. He provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for teams responsible for pricing, packaging, and advertising campaign execution across ABC branded digital properties (ABC.com, ABCNews.com, etc.). He is also responsible for advertising systems and solutions integration in support of ABC’s digital advertising sales objectives. Zach has served on the IAB Ad Operations Council Advisory Board since 2006, and is active in several IAB committees and industry forums focused on digital ad operations efficiency, standardization and compliance.
Zach has held a variety of leadership, technology, and ad operations roles within The Walt Disney Company since joining in 2000 with responsibilities ranging from analytics, ad system support, training, ad integration, and ad scheduling supporting all of the company’s digital properties (ABC, ESPN, Disney). He received a BA in Economics and Political Science from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO.

Steve Sullivan currently leads the IAB West Coast office as Vice President, Advertising Technology. He draws on his deep expertise in online advertising technology to help the industry improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. He joined IAB from Microsoft Corporation, where he served as Senior Program Manager, Ad Security, within Microsoft’s Online Services Division.
In 2009, Steve was recognized with an IAB Service Excellence Award and has been an active member of IAB committees and working groups since 2005, including the Measurement Task Force and most recently the Ad Ops Council. His career in online advertising technology began in the late 1990s, and he has since earned an industry-wide reputation for working collaboratively with partners and competitors on standards, guidelines, and related data quality issues. Most recently he sat on the Board of Directors of the Media Rating Council (MRC) and was a member of its internet committee. Before joining Microsoft, he held positions at Atlas DMT (which was acquired by Microsoft in 2004), Foretelligence, Expedia, and BlueStreak.

Julienne Thompson currently serves as Vice President of Millennial’s Programmatic Business, overseeing strategy and day-to-day operations for Millennial Media’s ad exchange (MMX), self-service platform (mMedia), and 3rd-party demand and supply relationships. Prior to Millennial, Julienne was Regional Vice President, West Coast Sales, at MediaMath, and prior to MediaMath, was responsible for AOL/Advertising.com’s bidded media business. Julienne graduated with a B.A. in English and minor in General Business Studies from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA.
