Anna Bager, Senior Vice President, Mobile and Video, brings together two of the digital media and marketing industries’ most significant growth platforms under her leadership. The IAB Mobile Marketing Center of Excellence, an independently funded and staffed unit inside the IAB, charged with driving the growth of the mobile marketing, advertising and media marketplace. The Digital Video Center focuses on tying together various IAB video activities – including Advanced TV, Digital Video, and the Digital Content Newfronts – providing a one-stop shop for thought leadership, innovation, research, and guidance for the burgeoning digital video industry.

Prior to joining the IAB Bager was heading business intelligence at Ericsson Multimedia and head of research at Ericsson’s Business Consulting unit. Earlier, she was Research and Consulting Manager for IDC EMEA. Business Insider named Anna to the Top 20 Most Important Women in Mobile Advertising in 2012, 2013 and 2014. And one of the 2014 top women in media by Folio Mag.

Simon Bond is the Chief Marketing Officer of BBDO & Proximity Worldwide. Simon has worked at BBDO for over 13 years and has helped establish their digital operations in Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Asia Pacific, and now North America.

Simon spent the first 10 years with BBDO between London, Paris, Dubai, Singapore, and Japan and is now based in New York responsible for driving innovation and business development across BBDO’s international client base and exploring new ways to expand and grow the network globally.

Simon is as seasoned global marketer and has been heavily engaged in building global brands like P&G, J&J, PepsiCo, Campbell’s, and Mars and advising them on their global digital, social, and mobile strategies.

Michael Collins is the Chief Executive Officer of Joule, a leading international mobile marketing agency that is part of WPP. Joule is also the designated mobile agency for GroupM, WPP media investment management group.

Michael came to WPP in 2007 to create and launch Joule and has since lead the effort to make Joule into a leading mobile marketing agency working with many of the world’s best known brands. Prior to Joule, Michael was the U.S. General Manager for Refresh Mobile, a global mobile solutions company that was spun out of T-Mobile. Earlier in his career, Michael was a Managing Partner at marchFIRST, which at the time was the world’s largest e-business consultancy, where he led the Strategic Services Practice.

Michael is member of the 4A’s Digital Marketing Committee and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to this role, Mark served as Director of Channel Marketing/Mobile at INgage Networks, where he created a partner network responsible for driving millions of dollars in revenue in year one and helped develop the company’s blended social and mobile strategy.

Prior to INgage Networks Emery worked as Senior Director of Agency relations at Air2Web, a mobile marketing software company helping brands, agencies and media companies leverage multiple wireless technologies for a unified mobile experience.

In all, Mark has 12 years of experience in digital marketing, 10 years of those concentrating specifically on mobile. He has a BBA from Baylor University.

Linda founded Gridley & Company LLC in August 2001. Immediately prior, she was Managing Director in the U.S. Media Client Services Group at ABN Amro. She joined ABN Amro in May 2001 when the firm acquired the U.S. Investment Banking business of ING Barings, where she was a Managing Director and head of the firm’s Information and Internet Services Group.

At ING Barings, Linda was responsible for the origination and execution of all of the firm’s U.S. Investment Banking business in the Information and Internet Services sector. She was also a member of the firm’s Fairness Opinion Committee. She joined ING Barings in October, 1997 when the firm acquired Furman Selz LLC where she was a Managing Director covering Information and Internet Services companies.

Prior to joining Furman Selz in February 1996, Linda spent 10 years in the M&A Department and the Technology Group at Lehman Brothers. Her 20+ year career in investment banking includes financial advisory work on behalf of technology industry leaders and emerging growth and middle market companies in all product areas (M&A, Public and Private Equity, and Public and Private Debt).

Jeff has 30 years of experience in the technology and entertainment industries and first got involved in mobile in 1998 as a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of mobile commerce pioneer BarPoint.com. Before that he was a senior marketing exec in the video and computer game industry and he has also written and produced for film and television. Jeff is a frequent speaker and panelist at mobile, music, and digital media events and has had articles published in AdAge Digital, DMNews, Mobile Marketer, iMedia Connection, Forbes, and others. Jeff has served on the Mobile Marketing Association’s Education and Evangelism Committee and is a founding Board Member of the Mobile Internet Content Coalition (MICC). He is also an adjunct professor for the University of San Francisco’s online mobile marketing training program. A recognized blogger and social media enthusiast Jeff has been a Sony DigiDad and is an Intel Advisor. Jeff grew up in New York and attended Cornell University.

As Director of Mobile at Mindshare, Craig Weinberg is the strategic lead for mobile marketing on Mindshare’s Sprint Account. With a strong background in mobile marketing, Craig provides the overall mobile marketing strategy for Sprint, which includes planning, buying and execution. He is also responsible for incorporating mobile strategies and tactics into Sprint’s digital and traditional marketing plans. Craig is new to the Mindshare family, joining in April 2011.

Prior to Mindshare, Craig was the Mobile Strategy Manager at MediaVest, where he oversaw the mobile communications strategy and provided direction on holistic digital communications integration to maximize North American mobile investments for P&G.

Before joining MediaVest in March 2010, Craig worked at Sony Music Entertainment, where he held multiple digital roles, including Mobile Marketing & Mobile Sales Analyst.

Brian WongBrian Wong

Brian is the founder of kiip (pronounced “keep”), a mobile rewards network backed by True Ventures and Hummer Winblad. Kiip has raised over $4.4 million in funding to date and is redefining the advertising industry through a “moments” based value model, as opposed to the traditional attention based screen estate model. Very recently, Techcrunch and the Wall Street Journal called him the “youngest person to ever receive funding by a venture capital firm”. He was an early Bachelors of Commerce graduate from the University of British Columbia, graduating at the age of 18, after skipping four grades in elementary and high school.

He was recently lauded in Mashable as one of “The Top 5 Young Entrepreneurs to Watch”, and the Vancouver Sun called him “a budding internet visionary”. He was also recently a recipient of the Top 20 Under 20 awards in all of Canada, and the Impact Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. He is the youngest charter member of the C100, an invitation only Silicon Valley based organization of top Canadian entrepreneurs, executives, and venture capitalists.

Before starting kiip, Brian was responsible for key publisher and tech partnerships at the social news website Digg.com. He also launched the Digg Android mobile app, adding to the company’s rising mobile presence.

Mike Zaneis is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Mike heads the Washington, D.C. Public Policy office, which he created in January of 2007. In this role he develops and manages the interactive advertising industry’s legislative, regulatory, and policy-making agenda. Mike runs IAB’s Public Policy Council, comprised of over 80 leading Internet and media companies, and serves as the Treasurer for the IAB Political Action Committee. He represents the industry before the United States Congress, federal regulatory agencies, state legislatures, and at public conferences. As General Counsel for the IAB, Mike oversees the legal operations of the organization and provides leadership on key judicial proceedings impacting the interactive advertising industry.

Prior to joining IAB, Mike served as Executive Director of Technology and E-Commerce at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest trade association. As the chief technology and telecommunications lobbyist, he oversaw issues affecting the business community pertaining to online and consumer privacy, data security, telecommunications, intellectual property, counterfeiting, piracy, and e-commerce. Mike has worked in the political arena since 1994 and has engaged in government affairs at the local, state, and federal levels. He received his bachelors degree from Michigan State University and both his Juris Doctor and Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University. Mike currently serves as an adjunct professor for Georgetown University’s Graduate Public Policy Institute.
