Digital Advertising Leaders Converge: 2011 IAB Annual Leadership Meeting


 

More than 750 digital leaders gathered February 27 – March 1 at La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, CA, for the sold-out 2011 IAB Annual Leadership Meeting—a three-day discussion of the most significant topics for the interactive advertising industry. This year’s passionate debate centered on the pressing issue of “The People vs. Data,” bringing out several themes not to be overlooked as the marketplace matures.

  1. The industry must give consumers not just physical control of their personal data, but economic control as well.
  2. A new palette of creative opportunity is emerging. We must explore it to the fullest in order to engage consumers.
  3. Digital leaders must proactively drive the conversation about building brands online, serving brand marketers by meeting their needs effectively and efficiently.
  4. We must bring humanity and data together.
