IAB Future of the Cookie Town Hall
IAB invites you to The Future of the Cookie Town Hall discussion on privacy and tracking in the post-cookie world. The Future of the Cookie Working Group will report on their findings from over a year of research and discussion.
Last year has proven that the cookie is crumbling. A growing number of users insist on interacting with content and advertising across the whole range of their devices all while a growing number of data partnerships compete to offer innovative, integrated experiences. The loss of a consistent technology for state and preference management is a risk to the industry.
In founding the Future of the Cookie working group, the IAB sought to highlight emerging technologies for state management that might supplement or replace the traditional cookie. The goal is to create principles for evaluating these technologies in order to help guide the industry . This initial work will be revealed during the Town Hall.
